Summer Construction – The work has started!

This summer we have a ton of construction and maintenance projects underway! We are grateful to the Board of Education for the support and the Department of Building & Grounds for the highly skilled work! We are grateful to have so much going on right now. Often people ask “What do you do all summer” well … one of the major components of work involves cleaning, fixing, improving, and this summer, construction at the schools. We are in the process of completing the multi-year air quality and air conditioning projects at Walden and Kipling Schools; in addition, we are completing life safety, health, and “green” work as well (including rest room repair, automation of lighting, roofing, etc.). All in all – it’s a pretty busy summer!

I will share photos of the work “in process” – this “gallery” is at the newly demolished 1961 science wing at Shepard! More to come … Happy Summer!
